Outlook Security Features Administrative Package
If your organization is using Microsoft OutlookŪ 98/2000/2002 with a server that has server-side security, such as Microsoft Exchange Server, you can customize the security features to meet your organization's needs. For example, you can control the types of attached files blocked by Outlook, modify the Outlook Object Model warning notifications, and specify user- or group-security levels.
The Outlook Security Features Administrative Package consists of three files, packaged into one self-extracting executable. When you run the executable, the following files are copied to a location you specify:
- OutlookSecurity.oft, an Outlook template that enables you to customize the security settings on the Microsoft Exchange server.
- Readme.txt, a document that provides information on the values and settings available in the template and describes how to deploy the new settings on Exchange Server.
- Hashctl.dll, the file for the Trusted Code control, a tool used by the template to specify trusted COM add-ins.
